The article is devoted to the development of the strategic Caspian region, the place and role of the Russian Federation in the issues of interregional cooperation, promising projects and the need for their implementation. The peculiarity of this study is a combined analysis of factors of internal and external interactions of states around the problems of the Caspian region and the Caspian Sea, as well as their various aspects – economic, ethnopolitical and legal.

GLOBAL FINANCIAL-ECONOMIC WAR AND ITS INFLUENCE ON INTERNATIONAL SECURITY
Today it is safe to say that the main purpose of financial and economic war in modern international space is primarily the possession of resources of competitors, improvement of financial-banking systems and national currencies, the quality of which depends not only the economic power and competitiveness of modern States, but their international and political security.
The world geopolitical system is changing rapidly, the unipolar world will be transformed into a multipolar system powering new economic and financial centers such as China, Brazil, India, under whose influence, the processes of globalization are changing the global economic space and tightening competition among States.
