Tajikistan's participation in integration processes now become one of the urgent problems of its foreign policy, as there are several factors contributing to the slowing down or speeding up the inclusion of Tajikistan in the Eurasian integration. To identify the influence of these factors seems to be important for community integration.

This article analyzes the ways and methods of measuring the political term «soft power» as the third component of state domination on the world scene in the context of comparative politics and provides political scientists with necessary formulas that may be useful to calculate the soft power index. These formulas are not constant and can be changed depending on the study objectives.

FACTORS OF ECONOMIC SECURITY OF RUSSIA IN THE CONTEXT OF GLOBALIZATION

PROSPECTS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION BETWEEN RUSSIA AND THE EU IN THE INVESTMENT SPHERE

In spite of the international sanctions, it is necessary for Russian government to maintain, promote and re-establish the cooperative interaction with the EU in order to promote international cooperation. Industrial cooperation is important for modernization process of Russian national economy since it provide the inflow of foreign capital and new technologies.

THE EVOLUTION DYNAMICS OF RUSSIAN-BELGIAN COOPERATION

The dynamic of regular Russian-Belgian contacts during the 1990s was rapid and controversial. Under the new geopolitical conditions, resulting from the events in Ukraine, the indicators of cooperation between Russia and Belgium began to decline. Both countries are still trying to maintain contacts at the regional level, continuing to implement bilateral projects which have an impact on interstate cooperation in changing political context.
